HWIC-4A/S is 4 ports low-speed synchronous/asynchronous interface module for 1800/1900/2800/2900/3800/3900 Series integrated services Routers. With integration of module to the router can either transporting traditional traffic across a TCP/IP network or connecting with console and craft ports to manage network remotely.

HWIC-4T supports multiprotocol that includes EIA-232, EIA-449, V.35, and X.21 in DTE or DCE mode and EIA-530 and EIA-530A in DTE mode with low speed up to 256 Kbps.
