QSFP-H40G-AOC2M Overview
The Cisco QSFP-H40G-AOC2M 40GBASE QSFP (Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable) copper direct-attach 40GBASE-CR cables offers a very cost effective way to establish a low-power 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data center, high-performance computing networks, enterprise core and distribution layers, and service provider applications. This 2 meter length of active optical cable offers alternative way to connect 40G link between QSFP ports of Cisco switch within racks and across adjacent racks and thinner and lighter than copper cables, which makes cabling easier. In addition, active optical cables enable efficient system airflow and have no EMI issues, which is critical in high-density racks.
